Make sure that you complete your packing at least a day before the actual move. Be ready before the Mover’s crew arrives at your door. Maintain a checklist of the items that need to be loaded onto the Moving vehicle, and tick the items off the list as they are loaded onto the vehicle. Be present, physically, as the Moving Company’s crew loads the packed stuff onto the vehicle.

Prepare an inventory of the items that are loaded onto the Moving Vehicle. Inventory is the document that you will be referring in future, better be careful as you are making it. Make the driver of the moving vehicle sign the inventory. Remember to sign it as well.

Give your mobile number to the driver of the moving vehicle, and do not forget to collect the same from him. Leave a copy of your address, and the inventory with the driver of the Moving vehicle.
